DAVENPORT, Fla. (March 8) – The Waynesburg University baseball team continued its run in the RussMatt Central Florida Invitational on Tuesday with a doubleheader against Juniata College.
The Yellow Jackets suffered a two-game sweep at the hands of the Eagles. Waynesburg (2-4) fell in game one by the score of 9-6 and dropped game two 6-4. Juniata improved to 3-2 on the season.
A release with further information and box scores of the games will be released soon. Waynesburg is off tomorrow and will return to competition on Thursday, March 10, when they play two against Aurora. First pitch is scheduled for 10 a.m.
