WAYNESBURG, Pa. (April 25) – The Waynesburg University men's tennis team fell in a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) match against Saint Vincent College on Monday by the final score of 6-3.
With the loss, the Yellow Jackets dropped to 4-6 on the season, while the Bearcats improved to 7-7 and 5-1 in the PAC.
Two of the three Yellow Jackets' wins came in singles play. Sophomore Jon Anderson worked hard in his 4-6, 6-0, 6-0 victory at number-four singles against Tyler Camaione, while freshman Nate Huffman needed just two sets to down Shawn Lehman 6-4, 7-6 (4) at five singles. The Jackets got their only win in doubles when Jason Logan and Jon Anderson teamed up for 8-3 win at number two doubles.
The Jackets are scheduled to return to PAC play tomorrow as they host Bethany College in their season finale.
