WAYNESBURG, Pa. (April 5) – The Waynesburg University baseball, softball and women's lacrosse teams are gearing up for a big stretch of games this week. If you can't catch them in person, you can follow them live at www.waynesburgsports.com.
Tomorrow, the Waynesburg University baseball and softball teams are both scheduled to be in action. To follow the Yellow Jacket baseball team as it faces Westminster in a nine-inning game, click on the livestats link below. The doubleheader will also be covered live by 99.5-FM, WCYJ, which will also provide live streaming audio from the field.
The Jacket softball team is scheduled to hit the road on Thursday, April 7, when it travels to Saint Vincent for a twin-bill with the Bearcats. First pitch for those games is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
On Friday, April 8, the women's lacrosse team is back in action as they host Division II Tiffin. Game time is scheduled for 6 p.m. and live stats straight from John F. Wiley Stadium will be streaming to waynesburgsports.com.
Even though the Waynesburg baseball and softball teams are both on the road Saturday, you can follow them both from the comfort of your home computer. Both teams will be involved in doubleheaders starting at 1 p.m. The Yellow Jacket diamond men will face Kenyon and will feature live audio from Gambier, Ohio, while their female counterparts are scheduled to be in PAC competition at Thiel. WCYJ-FM will bring all of the action.
