Men's tennis suffers PAC loss at Westminster

Anderson's two-win day highlights 6-3 setback

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. (March 19) – A pair of wins by junior Jon Anderson highlighted Waynesburg's Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) men's tennis match on Saturday, March 17, at Westminster College.
 
Anderson not only won his match at fourth singles 6-2, 6-2, but he also teamed up with freshman Phillip Littlejohn to claim victory at second doubles 9-7. The Jackets' (0-3, 0-2) only other win came courtesy of freshman number-one singles player Isaiah Cochran, who scored his first collegiate victory by taking a 6-7, 6-3, 6-2 decision. 
 
The Titans improved to 1-7 on the season with the win and are now 1-1 in conference action.
 
Waynesburg will take another shot at its first win on March 27, when the Jackets head to Maryland for a match with Frostburg State. Start time is scheduled for 3 p.m.
