WAYNESBURG, Pa. (March 2) - After two tough weekends of tournament style play in the POVL, the Jackets stand just below five hundred at 4-5 on the season following two wins over Westminster and victories over Edinboro and Gannon. The losses came to IUP twice, WVU, Case Western Reserve, and Grove City.
“We played well, but sometimes we got ourselves out of the game mentally,” said junior middle hitter
Nikolai Wojciechowski. “It is something we have got to address moving forward.”
Next up for Waynesburg is a trip to Moon, Pa., on Friday, March 16, to take on the Colonials of Robert Morris at 7 p.m. For now, the Jackets will take a week off to enjoy Spring Break.
