WAYNESBURG, Pa. (March 30) – The Waynesburg University men's tennis team hosted Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) powerhouse Grove City on Friday afternoon.
The Yellow Jackets dropped the match by a 9-0 final score and fell to 0-5 on the year (0-2 in PAC play), while the Wolverines improved to 2-0 in conference action and 4-1 overall. Waynesburg freshman
Alex Tenenbaum actually jumped to a 1-0 lead in his match at sixth singles after taking set one by a 6-2 score, before dropping the match 2-1 (2-6, 6-2, 6-4).
The Jackets are back in action tomorrow, when they host Pitt-Greensburg for a non-PAC match in Waynesburg. Start time was originally scheduled for 1 p.m., but was recently pushed back to 12 p.m.
