WAYNESBURG, Pa. (March 31) – The Waynesburg University men's tennis team celebrated its first win of the season on Saturday by taking down Pitt Greensburg 7-2 at the Yellow Jackets' home facility.
The Jackets (1-5) won five-of-the six singles matches on their way to picking up the victory and added wins in two of the three doubles contests against the Bobcats (1-9). Senior

Philip Littlejohn all went 2-0 on the day for the victors.
Anderson picked up a 7-5, 6-2 victory at third singles after teaming up with senior
Peter Mally to score an 8-4 triumph at second doubles. Littlejohn's singles victory came at fourth singles by the score of 6-0, 6-1 and he also teamed up with Logan to put together an impressive 8-1 victory at third doubles. Waynesburg added straight-set singles wins from freshman
Alex Tenenbaum and recent addition to the team freshman
Colin Phillips. Tenenbaum picked up his win 6-1, 6-3 at the number-five singles, while Phillips won at sixth singles 6-1, 6-0.
All nine of Saturday's flights were straight-set affairs. Waynesburg returns to action on Thursday, March 4, when the Jackets head to Greenville, Pa. to face off with Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) opponent Thiel. Match time is scheduled to for 4 p.m.
