Waynesburg, Pa. (April 16) – The Waynesburg University men's tennis team won its second-straight Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) match on Monday when the Yellow Jackets took down Washington & Jefferson 6-3.
The Jackets (4-6, 3-4) took two-of-three doubles matches and closed up the day by beating their President (3-7, 2-5) counterparts in four-of-six singles contests. Waynesburg's team victory got started with wins at second and third doubles. Senior

Jon Anderson got things rolling by picking up an 8-4 victory at the number-two spot. Freshman Phillip Littlejohn and senior
Jason Logan scored the home team's other doubles win by an 8-3 score.
Waynesburg's first individual triumph came courtesy of Littlejohn, who won in straight sets (6-1, 7-5) at third singles. It was the first of four-straight Jacket victories that the team picked up to seal up the match. Anderson also won in straight sets (6-2, 7-5) at fourth singles, as did Logan, who picked up a 6-1, 6-3 win at the number-five spot. Freshman
Alex Tenenbaum concluded the day with a 6-3, 2-6, 6-2 victory at sixth singles.
With the 2012 regular season wrapped up, the Waynesburg men turn their focus towards the 2012 PAC Championships, which will be played on Friday, April 20, and Saturday, April 21 at the Pennbriar Athletic Club in Erie, Pa.
