WAYNESBURG, Pa. (April 2) – The Waynesburg University men's tennis team hosted Marietta College for a non-Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) match under cold, sunny skies on Tuesday.

Jon Anderson came out on the short end of a thrilling 8-6 contest.
The visitors also came close to scoring a victory at first singles, where sophomore
Isaiah Cochran beat Ashton Whiteleather 6-1 in the first set. After Whiteleather came back to take set two, the Pioneer standout clinched the win by downing Cochran 10-4 in the tiebreaker.
The Waynesburg men return to competition on Wednesday, April 3, when they host Bethany for their first PAC match of the spring. Start time is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
