NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. (Oct. 14) – The Waynesburg University volleyball trip headed north to Westminster College for a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) matchup with the Titans on Tuesday night. The Yellow Jackets dropped a 3-0 decision.
After dropping set one 25-9, Waynesburg (5-24, 1-13) rebounded with a more respectable 25-20 performance in the second set. Westminster (14-9, 7-4) put things away with a 25-11 victory in set three.
The Jackets were led by junior
Kourtney Skinner, who put down a team-high six kills in the loss. Freshman
Delaney Denniston helped out the offense with a squad-best 10 assists. Junior
Jessica Dorazio paced the defense with 12 digs.
Waynesburg returns to action on Thursday, Oct. 16, when the Jackets host La Roche College in a non-PAC contest. Start time is scheduled for 7 p.m.
