WAYNESBURG, Pa. (Oct. 7) – The Waynesburg University women's volleyball team hosted Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) rival Washington & Jefferson on Tuesday for its annual "Dig Pink" match. Though the Yellow Jackets fell 3-0 to the Presidents, they were able to raise awareness for Breast Cancer research through the yearly event.
The Presidents (11-4, 5-3) took the contest by the set scores of 25-8, 25-17 and 25-14. Waynesburg (5-20, 1-20) was paced by junior
Kourtney Skinner, who posted a team-high 14 digs. Freshman
Delaney Denniston added 13 assists.
Waynesburg returns to the Rudy Marisa Fieldhouse on Thursday, Oct. 9, when the Jackets play host to the top team in the PAC, Thomas More. Start time is scheduled for 7 p.m.
