WAYNESBURG, Pa. (Oct. 9) – The Waynesburg University volleyball team hosted the top team in the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) on Thursday night when Thomas More came to the Rudy Marisa Fieldhouse. The Yellow Jackets dropped the match by a 3-0 score.
 
The Saints (17-2, 7-0) took the contest by the set scores of 25-19, 25-7 and 24-17. The Yellow Jackets (5-21, 1-11) were led by junior Kourtney Skinner, who posted a team-high eight kills. Freshman Delaney Deniston paced Waynesburg in assists with 10, while junior Jessica Dorazio did the same in digs with 10.
 
The Jackets get back to work on Saturday, Oct. 11, when they host Pitt Greensburg and PAC rival Saint Vincent for a tri-match. Start time for the first contest of the day is scheduled for 10 a.m.
