PITTSBURGH, Pa. (Feb. 22) – The Waynesburg University women's basketball team wrapped up the 2013-14 regular season with a 94-45 Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) win at Chatham on Saturday. The victory allowed the Yellow Jackets to end the schedule with four wins over the final five games of their schedule.
The Jackets (14-11, 12-6) jumped out to a 51-23 halftime lead after shooting 64 percent from the floor over the first 20 minutes from the floor. Waynesburg ended the contest shooting 62 percent from the field. All 15 Yellow Jackets got into the game and scored at least one basket each in the win.

Maura Bobby connected on all seven of her shots from the field to tally a career and game-high 14 points. Junior guard

Courtney Sargent added 10 points each to Waynesburg's winning effort. Sophomore guard
Lauren Blair paced all competitors with five assists.
The Jackets piled up 64 points in the paint, scored 28 points on the fast break and held a 52-to-26 advantage in rebounding. Waynesburg never trailed in the win.
With the regular season concluded, Waynesburg turns its attention to the 2014 PAC tournament, which gets underway on Tuesday. The Yellow Jackets, who ended the year tied with Westminster for fourth place in the conference standings, will travel to the Titans' home court by virtue of the Blue and White sweeping its two-game series with the Orange and Black.
