Men's tennis opens PAC play at Saint Vincent

Phillips, Cochran and Harris score wins in 7-2 setback

GREENSBURG, Pa. (March 19)- The Waynesburg University's men's tennis team travelled to the Greensburg Racquet Club to face Saint Vincent College in a Presidents' Athletic Conference contest. The Bearcats came out victors over the Yellow Jackets with a 7-2 win.
 
A bright spot for the Yellow Jackets' (0-2) came in third singles competition from junior Colin Phillips, as he scored a 6-0, 7-6 victory. Junior Isaiah Cochran teamed up with freshman Timothy Harris to pick up the team's only other win of the day at first doubles by an 8-5 score.
 
The Yellow Jackets return to the tennis court on Friday, March 21, with a home match against D'Youville College. Waynesburg will look for its first win of the season beginning at 4 p.m.
