GREENSBURG, Pa. (March 1) – The Waynesburg University men's tennis team opened the 2014 spring season on Saturday with a road trip to Pitt Greensburg. The Yellow Jackets dropped a 7-2 contest to the Bobcats.
Freshman
Timothy Harris highlighted the Yellow Jackets' (0-1) day by winning his collegiate debut, which came at second singles. Harris scored a 6-3, 6-3 victory at second singles. Junior
Philip Littlejohn picked up the visiting team's only other win of the day, which came at third singles by the score of 2-6, 6-3 (10-6).
The Yellow Jackets are back in action on Wednesday, March 19, when they travel to Saint Vincent to face the Bearcats. Start time is scheduled for 12:30 p.m.
