MARIETTA, Ohio (March 22) – The Waynesburg University men's tennis team traveled to Marietta College for a match this past Saturday. The Yellow Jackets picked up a win in doubles play during an 8-1 loss to the Pioneers.
The Yellow Jackets (1-3), who were playing their second match in as many days, won their only flight of the day at second doubles, where the junior duo of
Colin Phillips and
Philip Littlejohn scored an 8-2 victory. Marietta improved to 2-4 on the season.
Waynesburg gets back to competition on Tuesday, March 25, with a trip to Bethany to open Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) play. Start time is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
