BETHANY, W.Va. (Sept. 23) – The Waynesburg University volleyball team traveled to Bethany on Wednesday for a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) matchup. The Yellow Jackets fell 3-0 to the Bison.
Bethany (13-5, 4-1) took the contest by the set scores of 25-13, 25-15, 25-11. Freshman setter
Sydni Ayers tied for the match lead with 20 assists, while also recording an ace and seven digs. Freshman
Lexy Waldman paced the offense with a team-high six kills, while the Waynesburg (1-11, 1-4) defense was led by senior
Meghan Balogh, who posted a team-best 12 digs.
The Jackets are scheduled to return to action on Thursday, Sept. 24, when they host Mount Aloysius. Start time is scheduled for 7 p.m.
