Things to Watch For:
Â
- The Yellow Jackets will look to end their two-game losing streak to Bethany on Saturday. The Bison are one of only two teams (Thomas More) in the PAC that has at least a two-game winning streak against Waynesburg.
 - Both the Jacket and Bison have shown the ability to slay arguably the biggest giant in the PAC, Washington & Jefferson, in recent seasons. Last year, the Jackets upset the Presidents 31-28 in overtime to end the regular season. In 2014, Bethany took down W&J 24-19.
 - This year's Yellow Jackets could have revenge on their minds, as their loss to the Bison in 2014 could have cost them at least a share of the PAC title. If Waynesburg would have defeated Bethany and everything else in the conference played out in the same fashion that it did, the Jackets would have finished the regular season in a three-way time with W&J and Thomas More for the crown. However, Waynesburg would not have earned the PAC's automatic bid to the NCAA Division III national tournament, because the third and deciding tiebreaker is strength of schedule, with Waynesburg's non-conference opponent being Muskingum (3-7). W&J faced unranked Wooster, while Thomas More squared off with then-fifth-ranked Wesley.
 - Waynesburg and Bethany are among the top special teams programs in the PAC this year. The Jackets lead the league in kick return average (24.9 yards per return), while the Bison are second in punt return average (18.8 ypr). The two teams' respective place kickers have also been solid. Jacket senior Scott Lewis is 11-for-11 on PAT tries and connected on his only field goal attempt of the fall. Bethany sophomore Chris Ray is 10-for-10 when it comes to extra points and also converted his only field goal attempt of the season.
 - Waynesburg head coach Rick Shepas has been stuck on 65 career wins since week one, when his Jackets downed Muskingum 35-10. That victory tied him for first place in most career victories for a Waynesburg head coach. The wait for the record-breaking triumph could grow to three weeks if the Orange and Black can't take down the Bison. A third-straight regular season loss would be the longest such skid for the Jackets since 2006.
