WAYNESBURG, Pa. (Sept. 26) – The Waynesburg University volleyball team hosted Bethany and Grove City at the Rudy Marisa Fieldhouse on Saturday for a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) doubleheader. The Yellow Jackets dropped both of their contests by 3-0 final scores.
Waynesburg (1-14, 1-6) opened the morning with a 25-15, 25-17, 25-23 loss to Grove City (5-11, 3-3), before ending the day with a 25-15, 25-12, 25-18 setback against Bethany (15-5, 6-1). Bethany completed a 2-0 day by defeating the Wolverines 3-0.

Shannon Morgan and freshman
Lexy Waldman, who tied for the team with 13 total kills (2.17 kills per set). Freshman
Sydni Ayers helped out the Waynesburg offense with 41 assists (6.83 assists per set). Ayers added 21 digs over the doubleheader.
Waynesburg returns to competition on Tuesday, Sept. 29, when it hosts Chatham for a PAC match. Start time is set for 7 p.m.
