LATROBE, Pa. (Oct. 19) – The Waynesburg University volleyball team traveled to Saint Vincent College for a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) match with the Bearcats. The Yellow Jackets dropped the contest by a 3-0 final score.
Waynesburg (1-22, 0-16) fell by the set scores of 25-16, 25-16, 25-22 to the home team (11-17, 4-10). The Jacket offense was led by sophomore
Jordyn Wyllie, who posted a match-high 10 kills. Sophomore
Lexy Waldman added eight kills, while senior
Rachel Lang converted on seven attempts.

Sydni Ayers led all players with 25 assists (8.3 assists per set) to help out the Jacket attack. Freshman
Alyssa Proper paced the Waynesburg defense, with 12 digs, which was just two shy of the match high.
The Orange and Black wraps up its home schedule with a busy 48 hours at the Rudy Marisa Fieldhouse. The Jackets host Thomas More on Friday and then hold a tri-match on Saturday against Thiel and Pitt Greensburg. The team's home finale will also serve as the team's senior day.
