Women's soccer falls to Saint Vincent

Jackets drop 3-0 PAC match

WAYNESBURG, Pa. (Oct. 19) – The Waynesburg University women's soccer team hosted Saint Vincent in a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) matchup on Wednesday night. The Yellow Jackets fell 3-0 to the visiting Bearcats.
 
SVC (3-6-5, 2-3-1) scored the eventual game winner 2:15 into the first half. The Bearcats added insurance scores in the 19th and 62nd minutes to close out the win.
 
Waynesburg (5-9-1, 2-4) freshman goalkeeper Courtney Syfert stopped eight-of-11 shots on goal over 90 minutes of work in net.
 
The Jackets play their final home game on Saturday, when they host Chatham for a PAC showdown. Start time is scheduled for 2 p.m.
