WAYNESBURG, Pa. (Oct. 21) – The Waynesburg University volleyball team hosted Thomas More on Friday night for a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) match. The Yellow Jackets fell 3-0 to the Saints at the Rudy Marisa Fieldhouse.
 
Thomas More (17-8, 13-1) took the contest by the set scores of 25-9, 25-13, 25-13. The Waynesburg (1-23, 0-17) offense was paced by senior Rachel Lang, who put down a team-high eight kills. Sophomore Sydni Ayers recorded 14 assists on the night, while freshman Alyssa Proper paced her teammates and finished second in the match with 10 digs.
 
The Jackets wrap up their 2016 home schedule tomorrow, when they host Thiel and Pitt Greensburg for a tri-match. Prior to the first contest of the day, Waynesburg will celebrate senior day 2016.
