ROCHESTER, N.Y. (Nov. 26) – The Waynesburg University men's basketball team traveled to upstate New York for the first day of the Lexington Rochester Airport Hotel Tournament, which was hosted by the University of Rochester. Waynesburg was able to play its host evenly over the second half, but only after being outscored by 26 over the first 20 minutes. Rochester stayed undefeated on the year after the 83-57 win.
Rochester (5-0) never trailed in the contest and led by as many as 28 points in the first half. Waynesburg (1-2) didn't give up the fight and cut its deficit all the way down to 14 points, before coming up short of victory.
Junior wing
Jon Knab was Waynesburg's leading scorer for a third-straight game after putting up 12 points. It was also the third-straight game in which he scored at least 12 points. Junior

Christian Koroly chipped in eight points each. Sophomore
Brennan Smith pulled down a team-high seven rebounds. Senior guard
Timmy Kaiser and junior
Kendall Paige tied for the game lead with three assists each.
Waynesburg is back in action on Saturday when it faces Vassar in the consolation game of the tournament. Tipoff is scheduled for 1 p.m.
