BEAVER FALLS, Pa. (Feb. 17) – Behind a double-double from sophomore forward
Addy Knetzer, the Waynesburg University women's basketball team posted a 76-67 victory over Geneva. Knetzer posted her ninth double-double of the season with 23 points and 10 rebounds.
Waynesburg (10-12, 120-7) trailed for just eight seconds during the entire game. The Yellow Jackets used a 20-point first quarter to establish an early lead. Then, a 19-7 Waynesburg run encompassed the entire second quarter and extended the advantage to 17 points by halftime.

Heather Davis also scored in double figures while combining for six of the Yellow Jackets' eight three-pointers. Overall, Waynesburg shot 43 percent from the field, including 33 percent (8-of-24) from three-point range. Fifteen of the Jackets' 42 total rebounds were of the offensive variety, which led to 16 second-chance points.
Waynesburg will wrap up its regular season on Saturday at Chatham. Start time is scheduled for 1 p.m.
