BUFFALO, N.Y. (March 23) – The Waynesburg University women's lacrosse team opened the road portion of its schedule on Tuesday afternoon at Medaille College. The Yellow Jackets lost to the host Mavericks, 19-3.
 
Junior defender Holly Bachman led the Jacket (0-3) offense with a pair of first-half goals. The tallies gave Junior midfielder Brandi Rohal added her second of the season after halftime.
 
Between the pipes, senior goalkeeper JoHanna Phillips posted six saves for Waynesburg in the loss.
 
Waynesburg will return to action on Thursday at Lancaster Bible College. Start time is scheduled for 4 p.m.
