CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky. (April 22) – The Waynesburg University women's lacrosse team traveled to Thomas More on Friday for an Ohio River Lacrosse Conference (ORLC) matchup. The Yellow Jackets played the entire contest two players down for various reasons and fell 14-4 to the Saints.
Waynesburg (2-10, 2-5) showed its heart by battling Thomas More (3-10, 2-5) to a 2-2 tie over the first 14 minutes of play. However, the Saints closed the first half on a 5-1 run that put them ahead 7-3 at halftime. The home team out-scored the Jackets 7-1 over the final 30 minutes of action to close out the victory.

The Jackets wrap up the 2016 schedule tomorrow when they travel to ORLC-leading Transylvania. Start time is scheduled for 1 p.m.
