COLUMBUS, Ohio (Sept. 17) – The Waynesburg University women's soccer team hit the road for a matchup with Capital University on Saturday. The Yellow Jackets fell 5-0 to the Crusaders.
 
Waynesburg (2-4) played right with Capital (1-4) through the first 45 minutes of play and trailed just 1-0 at halftime. Unfortunately, the home team caught fire in the second half and pulled away for the win.
 
Freshman Courtney Syfert started in net and suffered the loss after stopping six-of-nine shots on goal over 54:29 of play.
 
Waynesburg returns to the pitch on Monday, Sept. 19, with a home game against Franciscan. Start time is scheduled for 6 p.m.
