PITTSBURGH, Pa. (Sept. 27) – The Waynesburg University volleyball team traveled to Pittsburgh for a Tuesday night Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) match with Chatham. Unfortunately, the Yellow Jackets wound up on the wrong end of a 3-0 final score.
The Cougars (4-13, 2-4) took the contest by the set scores of 25-23, 25-19 and 25-21. Waynesburg (1-14, 0-8) was led by sophomore
Jordyn Wyllie, who recorded a team-high 11 kills. Senior
Shannon Morgan chipped in nine successful attacks. Sophomore
Sydni Ayers tied for the match lead with 17 assists.

Lexy Waldman tied for the contest lead with three service aces. Freshman
Alyssa Proper paced the Orange and Black defense with 10 digs.
The Jackets return to the Rudy Marisa Fieldhouse for their next match, which is on Thursday. Waynesburg welcomes PAC opponent Bethany to town for a 7 p.m. contest.
