GREENVILLE, Pa. (Oct. 18) – The Waynesburg University volleyball team traveled to Thiel on Wednesday night for a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) match against the Tomcats. The Yellow Jackets fell by the final score of 3-0.
Thiel (10-14, 4-9) took the match by the set scores of 25-15, 25-15, 25-18.
Waynesburg (1-20, 0-14) was led offensively by junior
Jordyn Wyllie, who put down a team-high eight kills on the night. She added 14 digs in the loss, which was just one behind sophomore
Alyssa Proper, who recorded a Jacket-best 15 against the Tomcats.
The Jackets are back in action on Saturday, Oct. 21, when they host a tri-match at the Rudy Marisa Fieldhouse. Waynesburg faces Geneva at 1 p.m. and follows that up with a 6 p.m. showdown against Thomas More.
