WAYNESBURG, Pa. (Dec. 8) – The Waynesburg University wrestling team is gearing up for what will surely go down as a memorable Saturday. Not only will the 24
th-ranked Yellow Jackets host a quad-match featuring The Apprentice School, ninth-ranked Baldwin Wallace and Penn State Behrend, but they will also be honoring the absolute best of the best in the program's long and illustrious history.
Joining the current Waynesburg wrestlers and coaches for the day will be representatives from the school's four individual national champions and two of the school's most legendary head coaches. NCAA champions Tony Gizoni (1950 and 1951) and George Lewis (1948), as well as 1965 NAIA champs Tony Gusic and Mike Zrimm will be recognized for their outstanding accomplishments. Two of the school's greatest coaches: Raymond "Buck" Murdock (1947-1963) and Clayton Ketterling (1963-1977) will also have the spotlight shined upon them during the day.
Following a brief breakfast at 10 a.m., all of the day's honorees will be memorialized with a plaque that will be hung in Waynesburg's wrestling training facility located in the Robert C. Wiley Armory. Yellow Jacket head coach
