WAYNESBURG, Pa. (April 15) – The Waynesburg University women's lacrosse team hosted Franklin on Saturday for an Ohio River Lacrosse Conference (ORLC) match at Waynesburg Central High School. The Yellow Jackets fell 15-7 to the Grizzlies.

Jackie Adler found the back of the net in the first 30 minutes for Waynesburg (0-11, 0-6).
The second half was a more tightly played period than the first, as the Jackets were only bested by a 7-5 mark. Bachman scored two more times to complete the hat trick. Seniors

Angelica Sabatini also tallied points for the home team. Senior
Danielle Beckford scooped up a game-high five ground balls.
Freshman
Christina Bauer started and stopped 17-of-32 shots on goal over 60 minutes of play.
Waynesburg is back in action on Monday, April 17, when it travels to Thomas More for an ORLC matchup. Start time is scheduled for 5 p.m.
