CORAOPOLIS, Pa. (April 24) – The Waynesburg University women's lacrosse team traveled to Moon High School on Monday to complete its Ohio River Lacrosse Conference (ORLC) match with Westminster that began on Wednesday, April 19. The Yellow Jackets were outscored 6-1 over the final 18:34 of play on Monday and fell by the final score of 19-12.
Waynesburg (0-13, 0-8) played Westminster (1-8, 1-7) to a 9-9 halftime tie. Unfortunately, the second half didn't go as well for the Jackets, who were outscored 10-3 in the second half.
Senior
Holly Bachman turned out to be the biggest bright spot of the day for the Orange and Black. Bachman scored a team-high five goals, including Waynesburg's only tally at Moon High School. Junior

Danielle Beckford both split the pipes twice over the defeat.
Freshman
Christina Bauer started and played all 60 minutes in goal Waynesburg. The first-year net minder recorded six saves in the loss.
Waynesburg wraps up the 2017 season on Saturday, April 29, with a senior day showdown against Hanover. Start time is scheduled for 1 p.m.
