CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky. (April 17) – The Waynesburg University women's lacrosse team traveled to Thomas More on Monday for an Ohio River Lacrosse Conference (ORLC) match. The Yellow Jackets dropped a 16-3 final score.
 
Waynesburg (0-12, 0-7) trailed just 6-3 at halftime, before being shut out 10-0 in the second half. Thomas More (3-7, 2-4) The Jackets closed the deficit to one point thanks to goals from seniors Holly Bachman and Shannon Morgan. Bachman scored one more time before the halftime break.
 
Freshman Christina Bauer started in goal and made 11 saves over 60 minutes of play.
 
Waynesburg is back in action on Wednesday, April 19, when it travels to Westminster. Start time for the ORLC showdown is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
