WASHINGTON, Pa. (Oct. 16) – The Waynesburg University volleyball team traveled north to Washington & Jefferson for a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) matchup with the Presidents. The Yellow Jackets wound up on the wrong end of a 3-0 match.
 
The Presidents (15-9, 11-2) took the contest by the set scores of 25-18, 25-19, 25-13.
 
Waynesburg (4-21, 0-13) was led offensively by sophomore Hannah Colvin (Hagerstown, Md. / Grace Academy), who put down a team-high nine kills on a respectable .240 hitting percentage. Junior Olivia Zuchelli (Jennerstown, Pa. / North Star) helped out with 23 assists.
 
The Jacket defense was paced by senior Cassidy Guiser's (Newell, Pa. / Frazier) squad-best 12 digs.
 
Waynesburg is back in action on Tuesday, Oct. 23, when it welcomes Geneva to the Rudy Marisa Fieldhouse. Start time is scheduled for 7 p.m.
