PITTSBURGH, Pa. (April 18) – The Waynesburg University women's lacrosse team traveled to Chatham for an Ohio River Lacrosse Conference (ORLC) match on Wednesday. The Yellow Jackets fell 20-0 to the Cougars.
Chatham (6-8, 4-5) grabbed a 16-0 lead at halftime before wrapping up the victory. Waynesburg (0-11, 0-7) senior
Carissa Doody made 11 saves over 60 minutes in goal. Freshman
Breanna Martini led the Jackets in shots (five), ground balls (three) and draw controls (three).
Waynesburg returns to competition on Saturday, April 21, with a home ORLC match against The College of Mt. St. Joseph. Start time is scheduled for 1 p.m.
