WAYNESBURG, Pa. (April 25) – The Waynesburg University women's lacrosse team hosted Washington & Jefferson on Wednesday for an Ohio River Lacrosse Conference (ORLC) match. The Yellow Jackets dropped a 20-1 final score to the Presidents.
After W&J (12-3, 9-1) built up an 11-0 halftime lead, Waynesburg (0-14, 0-10) found the back of the net 6:09 into the second period. Sophomore
Jackie Adler split the pipes to break up the shutout and made the score 12-1.
Senior
Carissa Doody started and played all 60 minutes in goal for the home team. She made nine saves on the evening.
The Jackets wrap up the 2018 season on Saturday by celebrating senior day with an ORLC match against Hiram. Start time is scheduled for 1 p.m.
