PITTSBURGH, Pa. (Sept. 27) – The Waynesburg University volleyball team traveled to Chatham on Thursday night for a President's Athletic Conference (PAC) match. The Yellow Jackets fell 3-0 to the host Cougars.
 
Chatham (5-11, 1-5) took the contest by the set scores of 25-13, 25-22, 25-19.
 
Waynesburg (3-14, 0-6) was led offensively by freshman Hannah Buhr, who put down a team-high eight kills. Junior Alyssa Proper led all players with three service aces, while junior Olivia Zuchelli helped out with a contest-best 17 assists.
 
Senior Cassidy Guiser paced Waynesburg's defensive efforts with a squad-best 18 digs.
 
The Jackets return to the court on Saturday, Sept. 29, when they head to Geneva for a PAC tri-match. Waynesburg will face Thiel at 1 p.m. and follow with a showdown against the host Golden Tornadoes at 3 p.m.
