WAYNESBURG, Pa. (Oct. 30) – Needing a win to stay alive for the upcoming Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) tournament, the Waynesburg University men's soccer team hosted Geneva for its regular season finale on Wednesday night. The Yellow Jackets scored first and were in position to pick up their biggest win of the season, but the Golden Tornadoes rebounded to tie the game and then tally the golden goal in double-overtime.
With the loss, Waynesburg (5-9-3, 2-3-3) was officially eliminated from the postseason. Geneva's (9-8, 5-2) most recent win assured it of at least the number-four seed for the upcoming the playoffs.

th minute to give the home team the 1-0 advantage. Waynesburg maintained that edge throughout the remainder of the first half and roughly 6:44 into the second half, when Geneva tied the game at 1-1.
The score remained knotted up throughout the remainder of regulation time and throughout the first overtime period. Waynesburg saw its 2019 season end in the 103
rd minute, when Geneva ended the contest.
The first half of the game was fairly evenly contested, with Geneva outshooting Waynesburg by a 9-6 advantage. The Golden Tornadoes cranked up the pressure by outshooting the Jackets 19-4 over the remainder of the game. Junior goalkeeper
