WAYNESBURG, Pa. (April 27) – Waynesburg University head men's soccer coach
Treg Lunger has announced a pair of camps scheduled for the summer months. The Yellow Jackets will host a youth camp from Monday, June 22, to Thursday, June 25, and follow that with a one-day ID camp on Saturday, July 25.
Youth Camp
The Jackets are hosting youth aged 6-14 for the four-day event with sessions running from 9 a.m. to noon. Boys and girls of all skill levels are welcome to attend. Each session is designed for young players of all experience levels to learn and perfect their soccer abilities with the Waynesburg players and staff in a fun environment.
There is a $150 cost per camper, and all attendees will receive a 12-ounce water bottle (while supplies last). Everyone interested should click

ID Camp
The Waynesburg University men's soccer team will provide a full day of instruction structured to be a unique experience that those attending the event will only receive at Waynesburg.
"There are a few things that make our experience worth it," Lunger said. "We keep the cost and number of participants lower than the average ID clinic. We want campers to have the opportunity to spend as much time with us as they can, and we want to spend time with campers."
The event is open to high school-age athletes and older and begins at 9:30 a.m. with a 30-minute check-in time. There is a $80 fee for anyone attending the event.
The first instructional session runs from 10 a.m. to noon at John F. Wiley Stadium. Following an hour lunch that gets started at noon, the clinic's focus will shift from the pitch to the classrooms in the Rudy Marisa Fieldhouse from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.
After completing the classroom session, all attendees will return to Wiley Stadium for the second and final instructional session of the day, which will run from 2:30 to 5 p.m.
"We do a recruiting seminar, along with two field sessions that focus on some of the finer points of the college soccer/recruiting process," Lunger said. "We will also be sharing who we are as Waynesburg men's soccer."
In order to make the Waynesburg University men's soccer ID Clinic as effective as possible, there will be a limit on the number of participants accepted to the camp to maximize the attention given to each attendee.
All participants are asked to either drive themselves or have a ride available to get them to and from John F. Wiley Stadium as the camp moves between the athletics facility and main campus.
