WASHINGTON, Pa. (April 13) – The Waynesburg University men's tennis team returned to Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) play on Saturday with a road match at Washington & Jefferson. The Yellow Jackets dropped the contest 8-1.

Brian Drake's (Pittsburgh, Pa. / Mount Lebanon) 6-4, 6-2 victory at fifth singles highlighted Waynesburg's (8-5, 3-3) day on the courts. The number-one doubles duo of
Jonah Cooper (Beaver Falls, Pa. / Beaver County Christian) and
Josh Denham (New Kensington, Pa. / Valley) nearly scored a victory in a matchup of two of the top tandems in the league. Their opponents from W&J (11-2, 6-0) pulled out an 8-6 triumph in the showdown.
Waynesburg wraps up the regular season on Wednesday, April 17, when it hosts Saint Vincent for what could be a key league match with the PAC tournament coming up soon. The Jackets battle the Bearcats at 1 p.m.
