WAYNESBURG, Pa. (April 25) – The Waynesburg University women's lacrosse team traveled to Washington & Jefferson on Wednesday night for a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) match. The Yellow Jackets fell by the final score of 14-1.
 
The Presidents (7-7, 5-1) built an 11-0 lead at halftime before securing the victory. Waynesburg (0-13, 0-6) scored the game's final goal when freshman Kristyn Byler (Belleville, Pa. / Belleville Mennonite) split the pipes off an assist from classmate Melissa Yoder (Belleville, Pa. / Belleville Mennonite) with 8:33 remaining in the contest.
 
Sophomore Riley Yoder (Lancaster, Ohio / Fisher Catholic) Tallied 12 saves over 60 minutes in goal.
 
Waynesburg wraps up the 2019 season on Saturday with a PAC road trip to Franciscan University. Start time is scheduled for 12 p.m.
