Men's tennis travels to W&J tri-match

Yellow Jackets fall to Mt. Aloysius; play Presidents in shortened contest

Box Score 1 WASHINGTON, Pa. (Sept. 28) – The Waynesburg University men's tennis team traveled to Washington & Jefferson for a tri-match against the host Presidents and Mt. Aloysius College. The Yellow Jackets fell 8-1 to the Mounties, but were unable to complete their matchup with the Presidents because of inclement weather conditions.
 
Waynesburg (1-2) picked up a victory over Mount Aloysius (5-2) courtesy of junior Frank Sullivan (Mullica Hill, N.J. / Kingsway Regional), who defeated his opponent 6-1, 6-1.
 
The Jackets' match with W&J (0-1) was called by officials with the score tied at 3-3.
 
Waynesburg wraps up the fall portion of its schedule on Sunday, Oct. 6, with a match at Frostburg State. Start time is scheduled for 1 p.m.
