GREENVILLE, Pa. (Oct.19) – The Waynesburg University volleyball team traveled to Thiel for a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) match on Tuesday. The visiting Yellow Jackets left the Beeghly Gymnasium with a 3-0 loss.

Thiel (8-16, 8-6) took the contest by the set scores of 25-17, 25-21, 25-18. Senior Alyson Johnson (Raceland, Ky. / St. Joseph Central Catholic) logged another match with double-digit digs after posting 16 for the Yellow Jackets (9-16, 3-12).

Senior Hannah Buhr (Jefferson, Md. / Bruswick) posted a team-high nine kills. Freshman Paige Cousley (Pittsburg, Pa. / Chartiers Valley) logged a squad-best 18 assists.

Waynesburg is back in action on Thursday, Oct. 21, when it travels to St. Vincent for another PAC contest. Start time is scheduled for 7 p.m.
