A Look Inside the Hive
From an individual standpoint, Waynesburg has had two key standouts in production in junior forward
Isaiah Alonzo (Chandler, Ariz. / Tri-City Christian Academy) and sophomore guard
Ryan Felberg (Twinsburg, Ohio / Twinsburg). Alonzo is among the leaders in the conference in scoring (20.0 points per game) and rebounding (10.0 rebounds per game), while Felberg has been contributing in multiple categories, averaging 13.0 points, 5.0 rebounds a 3.5 assists per game. Jansen Knotts (Ridgeley, W. Va. / Frankfort) has been solid in his first collegiate campaign, averaging 7.0 points and 6.5 rebounds per game in two starts.
Scouting the Bearcats
Saint Vincent has been up and down through two games this season. The Bearcats held on to beat Geneva 68-66 in its opener, but fell to Chatham 92-71 in their most recent contest. As a team, Saint Vincent is shooting 44.9 percent from the field (53-118) and has outrebounded opponents 90-70. At this point, the team runs through senior forward Shemar Bennett. The two-time All-PAC Honorable Mention selection is averaging 21.0 points, 12.5 rebounds and 1.5 blocks per game. Freshman forward Anthony Dillard has also made a lot of noise early for the Bearcats, averaging 13.0 points and 8.0 rebounds per game.

The Streak
Last season the Yellow Jackets beat the Bearcats 73-68 in overtime to break a six-game losing streak dating back to the 2016-17 season. SVC bounced back with its win in almost a year ago to the day.
