A Look Inside the Hive
Waynesburg Is looking to bounce back after suffering a narrow defeat to Chatham on Wednesday by a score of 66-64. Coming into the this matchup, the Yellow Jackets have the third best scoring defense in the conference with an average of 68.3 points per game. Waynesburg also has the second-best team free throw percentage in the PAC. Junior forward Isaiah Alonzo (Chandler, AZ. / Tri-City Christian Academy) is shooting 89.5% from the free throw line with junior Matt Popeck (Washington, PA. / Washington) right behind him at 88.9%. Alonzo is also the fourth leading scorer in the conference, averaging 19.5 points per game. Freshman Jansen Knotts (Ridgeley, W.VA / Frankfort), who was named PAC Rookie of the Week, achieved a double-double against Chatham, putting up 12 points and collecting 11 rebounds. He leads the team and is ranked fourth in the conference for rebounding
 
Scouting the Presidents
In their last matchup against the Bethany College Bison, W&J's senior guard Cameron Seemann (Loveland, Ohio / Archbishop Moeller) led the Presidents with 18 points and six rebounds in the victory. Seemann is ranked as the seventh-best scorer in the conference, averaging 16.8 points per game. Junior forward Jake Livingston (Pittsburgh, Pa. / Fox Chapel) put together a double-double against Bethany by scoring 17 points and bringing in 10 rebounds. Livingston leads the PAC in field goal percentage at 66.7%. As a team, W&J leads the conference in scoring defense (64.2 ppg) and is ranked third in field goal percentages (44.7)
