WAYNESBURG, Pa. (March 23) – The Waynesburg University women's lacrosse team hosted Saint Vincent for a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) match on Tuesday. The visiting Bearcats left John F. Wiley Stadium with an 18-4 win.
 
Sophomores Hannah Rosenberger (Bruceton Mills, W.Va. / Preston) and Eve O'Sullivan (Latrobe, Pa. / Latrobe) both scored twice for the Yellow Jackets (0-3, 0-3) on the evening. Junior Melissa Yoder (Belleville, Pa. / Belleville Mennonite) logged an assist in the loss.
 
Junior Lily Portman (Roaming Shoe, Ohio / Grand Valley) scooped up a game-high seven ground balls for Waynesburg. Senior Riley Yoder (Lancaster, Ohio / Fisher Catholic) had a busy night in goal, but put up some solid numbers with a season-high 14 saves.
 
The Jackets return to action on Saturday, March 27, when they host Bethany for another PAC showdown. Start time is scheduled for 8 p.m.
