WAYNESBURG, Pa. (March 26) – The Waynesburg University football team kicked off its 2020-21 season on Friday night by hosting Washington & Jefferson for a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) South Division contest. The Presidents picked up a 66-0 win.

Tyler Raines (Columbia, Md. / Long Reach) completed 13-of-28 passes for 95 yards. Senior

Matt Craig (Avella, Pa. / Avella) and senior
Howard Metzger, Jr. (Connellsville, Pa. / Connellsville) caught three passes each on the night.
Junior
Nick Hall (Fayette City, Pa. / Belle Vernon) paced the Jacket rushing attack by tallying 42 yards on 15 carries.
The Jacket defense was led by sophomore linebacker
Brandon Ntankeu (Hyattsville, Md. / Montgomery Blair), who logged a team-high nine tackles and broke up a sack.
The Jackets are back in action on Thursday, April 1, when Carnegie Mellon travels to John F. Wiley Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
