LATROBE, Pa. (March 27) – The Waynesburg University men's tennis team opened its 2020-21 spring campaign on Saturday with a road match at Saint Vincent. The Bearcats defeated the visiting Yellow Jackets 7-2.
 
Waynesburg (0-1, 0-1) picked up its first victory of the day when junior Conor Cassidy (Huntingtown, Md. / Huntingtown) and freshman Alex Young teamed up to pick up a solid 8-2 win at number-two doubles.
 
The Jackets added a win in the singles ranks courtesy of junior Keaton Moorhead (Apollo, Pa. / Kiski Area). Moorhead swept his way to a 6-4, 6-3 triumph.
