STEUBENVILLE, Ohio (April 11) – The Waynesburg University men's tennis team traveled to Franciscan on Sunday for a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) match. The Yellow Jackets dropped an 8-1 final score to a traditionally strong Baron squad.
Waynesburg picked up a victory at number-three singles courtesy of junior Connor Cassidy (Huntingtown, Md. / Huntingtown), who gutted out a 7-6, 2-6, 10-7 triumph.
The Jackets are back in action on Sunday, April 18, when they travel to Washington & Jefferson for a PAC match with the Presidents. Start time is scheduled for 2 p.m.
