WAYNESBURG, Pa. (Sept. 21) – The Waynesburg University volleyball team hosted Bethany for a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) match on Tuesday. The visiting Bison left the Rudy Marisa Fieldhouse with a 3-0 win.
 
Bethany (4-5, 3-2) took the contest by the set scores of 25-14, 25-8, 25-14. Senior Alyson Johnson (Raceland, Ky. / St. Joseph Central Catholic) logged another match with double-digit digs after posting 10 for the Yellow Jackets (7-5, 1-1).
 
Freshman Madisen Dayton (Ridgeley, W.Va. / Calvary Christian Academy) posted a team-high five kills. Sophomore Mickayla Baniaga (Kalihi, Hawaii / Kamehameha Schools Kapalama) logged a squad-best eight assists.
 
Waynesburg is back in action on Thursday, Sept. 23, when it travels to Geneva for another PAC contest. Start time is scheduled for 7 p.m.
